August – September  U-Pick Blueberries

L&B Farms, 2274 Reed Road, Savannah. Located off of Route 31 between towns of Clyde and Savannah. Bring your own containers. Clean, mowed picking area. Open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm. Call ahead for start time. (315) 365-3194.

Summer Reading Programs

Wayne Ontario Saddle Club, Inc.
The Way-Ont Saddle Club has been in existence since 1948 and caters to family events whether you are a spectator or competitor and we welcome new members. We have many events throughout the month. August 2: Moonlight Ganargua Creek Paddle

August 2-4: Brantling Bluegrass Festival 2012

August 18 - Sept 3: LOC Fall Derby
The Lake Ontario counties annually host a series of the world’s best freshwater tournaments known as the LOC Derby. Thousands of anglers hit the lake each year in pursuit of thousands of dollars in cash prizes for salmon, lake trout, brown trout and rainbow/steelhead trout. August 25: Music Fest 2012, Noon till the Cows Come Home
Cracker Box Palace, Shaker Road, Alton.Spend a great afternoon on the farm enjoying our wonderful bands that donate their talents to entertain us! Wells Hollow, Soul Shakers, Sinzibukwud have already signed on to keep our toes tappin for the afternoon! Admission is a donation of cash or an item from our wish list on www.crackerboxpalace.org. Bring a picnic lunch (please no glass bottles) or enjoy something from our food booth, a blanket or lawn chairs and come enjoy the afternoon at the farm! Raffles and door prizes also throughout the day.
