Wayne Ontario Saddle Club, Inc.: The Way-Ont Saddle Club has been in existence since 1948 and caters to family events whether you are a spectator or competitor and we welcome new members. October 5-8: Wayne County Apple Tasting Tour

The 15th annual Wayne County Apple Tasting Tour is scheduled for its’ tasting weekend. Travel our scenic country roads, ablaze in autumn glory from market to market. Take this opportunity to explore the essence of the apple. Apple taste testing is one way to learn the differences in apples including taste, texture and scent. Shop for gift items and crafts and participate in the door prize drawings. Each stop is unique, as is the taste and texture of apples. Discover the flavors, colors, and sizes…apples are as individual as we are! We are thrilled to have three of Wayne County’s finest wineries on the tour. October 6: Farm Frenzy Walk-a-thon!
Cracker Box Palace, Shaker Road, Alton. 9am till 1pm followed by a picnic and entertainment for the hikers! This year's hike will be on the farm using our new trails! Call our office to register and get a sponsor sheet to get walking sponsors at 315-483-2493. T-shirts, prizes, picnic and entertainment available at the end of the hike.

October 6: Side Walk Art Show

October 6: Get to Know your Neighbor Picnic

October 10:  Sibyl’s 117th birthday party

October 20: Pumpkinpalooza in Lyons!

Activities include: pumpkin race, Squish-Squash tug-o-war, casket races, costume parade, pumpkin carving and decorating and the "What the Hay" hay bale decorating. There will be vendors, bands and plenty of good food! You don't want to miss this one! (rain date 10/27)  9am till 7pm

Candlelight Cemetery Tours, sponsored by the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society. Come and enjoy actors in period costume portray citizens from the past.  After the tour, enjoy cider and donuts in Gates Hall.  Lakeview Cemetery, Pultneyville.
