January 19, 2017: Montezuma Winter Raptor Tour - Raptors invade the Montezuma Wetlands Complex each winter and now is a great time to see them! Hop in the Mon-tezuma Audubon Center van for an excursion to our premier birding locations to encounter Short-eared Owls, Bald Eagles, Northern Harriers, Rough-legged Hawks and more! January 21, 2017: Girl Scout Snowshoe Spectacular - Girl Scouts of all ages are welcome to snowshoe through Montezuma’s forests and grasslands to read the stories left in the snow by our resident foxes, coyotes, rabbits, and birds. Scouts will also discover where reptiles and amphibians are hiding this winter season. After snowshoeing, Scouts will warm up with a delicious cup of hot cocoa in the Center! 10am to 12pm. January 21, 2017: Owl Prowl - Get up close to live owls during an indoor presentation by KrittrKris who will discuss what special adaptations these birds have to help them survive during the winter season and be successful hunters of the night. January 21 & 22, 2017:  7th Annual Chili and Wine Tasting Event - JD Wine Cellars welcomes the New Year with their seventh annual chili tasting and wine pairing event. The chili tasting event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, from 12pm to 5:00pm.
