September 2: Sodus Point Fireworks - Village of Sodus Point Fireworks Display. The lawn of the Sodus Bay Lighthouse provides a perfect location to watch the fireworks, which are set off on the Sodus Bay channel pier.

9, 10: Macedon Center Lumberjack Festival: Amateur competition starts at 9am on Sat.  Pre-registration is required. Log Rolling, Two-man crosscut, chain sawing, bow sawing, log chop, fire starting.  NEW this year, Tug of War competition!  Professional competition starts at 10am on Sun. Two-man crosscut, hot saw, spring board, ax throw, chain sawing and bow sawing. Pancake breakfast Sat. 7am-11am at the fire hall.  Sun 8am-Noon. Food vendors, craft and commercial exhibitors. 10: Humane Society Mutt Strutt -Bring your dog, get sponsors and enjoy the afternoon with fellow dog lovers. Vendors, wine tasting, live music and food. Noon to 3pm.

September 14: The Ties That Bind: Wayne County Fraternities - New exhibit at the Museum of History will feature many of the past and present fraternities in Wayne County. Speaker will be Carol Baily. 6:30pm to 8pm. 21 Butternut Street, Lyons.

September 15: Historic Ghost Walk Tour – This tour gives you chills and thrills in the darkened streets of Palmyra. From Market St. to E Main St. we will discuss the darker side of Palmyra History. 8pm to 10pm. Reservations at (315) 597-6981. $10/person. September 16: Annual Williamson-Pultneyville Community Garage Sale - Flea Market/Garage Sale in Centennial Park, Pultneyville. September 16: Old Fashion Barn Dance & Hayrides - A barn dance and hayride in conjunction with Palmyra Canaltown Days. 7pm. Activates include hay-wagon rides, pumpkin carving, food vendors. September 16, 17: Our 20th season of the Amaizing Maze begins!! Enjoy our new look and added features for the fall~~ New -Wood Fired Oven serving pizza's! September 21-23: A Tea Out of Time - 100th anniversary of the Silent Sentinels of the National Woman's Party picketing the White House that led to the 19th amendment to the US Constitution. This play was written by Larry Ann Evans and Linda Stevenson.. Location TBD. 7pm.

September 22-24: The 2017 Savannah Art Festival - At the Montezuma Audubon Center, 2295 Route 89, Savannah. A colorful weekend! There will be art and photo contests for kids and adults. Live music.
