The Lake Ontario Wine Trail Announces 2018 Events

Unique sights, award-winning wines, refreshing spirits and a welcoming atmosphere await you on the Lake Ontario Wine Trail. Each of the featured events are designed to highlight all of the many wonders our area has to offer. Visit wineries, distilleries, unique shops, restaurants, farm markets and more- we have so much to offer!

Participating locations will provide refreshments and food samples for each guest during these events. Grab your friends and come discover what one of New York State’s newest wine trails is all about!

Several trail events will be taking place throughout the year. It beings with Roll out the Barrels where you can Be the first to taste new and/or not yet released vintages and purchase new spring releases.

Sweet Retreat
Enjoy the ultimate indulgence of a sweet treat paired with wines, spirits, and ciders. Perhaps a wine infused cupcake or brownie? Visit the participating locations for a sweet retreat.

Wine and Artisan Festival
Annual festival in Newark. Enjoy live music, wine, spirits, cider, beer tastings, as well as cheese, chocolate and other food. Shop the offerings of local artisans and other vendors.

Take this opportunity to explore the essence of the apple. Each stop is unique, as is the taste and texture of apples. Discover the flavors, colors, and sizes…apples are as individual as we are!  Everyone can be an expert!

Apple taste testing is one way to learn the differences in apples including taste, texture and scent. Drive yourself from market to market and taste the different varieties and take the “Apple Taste Test”. Enjoy apples, baked goods, cider, fresh produce, door prize drawings and more!
