March is Maple Season! This is a great opportunity for the public to come to the farm to learn about New York’s maple sugarmaking processes and traditions and to provide a chance to taste pure maple syrup in its many forms – right from the source.

March is the prime month for maple production. Did you know that It takes 30-50 gallons of sap to produce 1 gallon of maple syrup.
Come out and learn more about the production of maple syrup at Shadow Hill Farms’ Open House on March 4 & 5, 11 & 12, 18 & 19 and March 25 & 26, 2023. All-You-Can-Eat-Pancakes with Pure Maple Syrup will be served during the “Open House”. Try their bourbon-aged maple syrup & fresh made donuts. Enjoy nearly a mile of hiking trails through the Sugar Bush and the beautiful 3-acre pond with running waterfalls! *NEW* Mimosa Bar for Mom and Dad!

Maple Weekends & Breakfast on March 18 & 19 and March 25 & 26, 2023
Maple Weekend at Packard Valley Farms, Fun for all ages. Horse-drawn wagon rides, farm animal viewing, birds eye view of the sugar bush, Maple products and baked goods for sale. Breakfasts are served next door at our neighbor, The Log Cabin Restaurant with Packard Valley Farms fresh maple syrup. Also, a variety of Packard Valley Farms beef, pork and chicken will be available for purchase.
