The Alling Coverlet Museum features the largest collection of American handwoven coverlets in the United States. Our extensive collection features coverlets from 1790-1873. Highlighted are palmyra’s local weavers James Van Ness and Ira Hadsell, giant looms, spinning wheels and other weaver tools on display. Our Gift Shop is open for finding a unique gift.
