The Museum specializes in New York State clocks, and houses one of the finest collections of New York State clocks in the U.S., including many early wooden and brass works clocks. Along with a variety of New England clocks, which was the center of American clock manufacturing, the Museum has examples of clocks from Austria, Germany, France, Japan and China. Over 450 clocks and watches, which are arranged by type and grouped to tell their histories, are on display. There is also an impressive collection of horological tools.
