Welcome to the Montezuma Audubon Center, a state-owned facility operated through a cooperative agreement between the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the National Audubon Society. We are dedicated to enhancing the habitat of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex and surrounding important Bird Areas. Our habitat restoration projects, scientific and educational programs and advocacy on behalf of areas sustaining important bird populations, engage people of all ages and backgrounds through conservation. We have indoor exhibits and two miles of trails through forest, grassland and wetland habitats. The Center is closed on federal holidays.
