The Montezuma Audubon Center serves as a gateway for adults and school-aged children to get involved in local conservation efforts and experience the wonder of the outdoors. The center houses a large exhibit area, nature store and meeting rooms. On its 198 acres, there are five types of habitat, two restored marshes, two-miles of trails, and an all-access observation platform. Canoes, kayaks and snowshoes are available to access the heart of Montezuma’s wetlands, forests and grasslands. Other recreational opportunities include nature photography, cross-country skiing, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing and hiking.
