
Butler Historical Preservation Society Celebrates 20 Years!
Join us as we celebrate the efforts of society members and volunteers to preserve Butler history. Huron Historian & Wayne County Bicentennial Co-Chair Rosa Fox will be presenting a program on “Notable Women of Wayne County.” Refreshments will be served and you are welcome to wander our exhibits that include the Hibbard Basket Works, Azel Hough’s Cash Recorder (precursor to the cash register) which was invented in S. Butler as well as artifacts recently found while remodeling a local home and the dismantling of the old Grange Hall (formerly a blacksmith shop and post office).
