As part of the Wayne County Bicentennial Family Fun Day celebration at the Wayne County Fair, Towpath Volunteers Fife and Drum Corp will present a program highlighting the heritage of American life under the BIG tent on History Alley. From the group’s humble beginnings over 40 years ago, with a few kids playing only three simple songs and never having practiced a corner before their first parade, the Naples Fireman’s Parade in 1978, the Towpath Volunteers has becoming one of the Largest, World Traveling, Family Oriented Fife and Drum Corps in the country. Come enjoy this local unit’s musical celebration of our heritage.
