Honoring Our Hometown Heroes
Tree Lighting Ceremony

We invite everyone in the community to share this time to honor our military personnel, past and present. Remember to include parents, grandparents, siblings, spouses and friends. During the ceremony, one person representing each service branch will place an ornament on the tree. Then an ornament will be placed to represent each of the major combat eras in our country’s history as well as ornaments to represent medals awarded to service members in honor of their sacrifices they made. At the end of the ceremony, you will be invited to place your own service person’s ornament on the tree.

The American Legion Auxiliary will provide, at no cost to you, the original photo ornament to be displayed annually on the holiday tree at the Post #120 Legion.
To order a duplicate keepsake ornament for yourself, leave a check or cash in an envelope for $15 per ornament desired in the Legion safe addressed to our ALA Treasurer with the check made out to the American Legion Auxiliary
