Montezuma Audubon Center Hosts Annual Benefit
Step into the sunshine and join Montezuma Audubon Center on Monday, June 13th for 18 holes of golf in support of conservation at the Montezuma Wetlands Complex, Onondaga Lake, and other Important Bird Areas in the Finger Lakes Region.
Golfers will face beautifully manicured fairways and greens while playing a Captain and Crew golf tournament at the Wayne Hills Country Club in Lyons, NY, which was named one of the 101 reasons why golf in Rochester is so great. Enjoy a day of golf with lunch, a cocktail reception, raffles, a virtual silent auction, and a dinner & awards reception. Not into golf? Join us for dinner instead. Tickets only for the dinner reception are available too. Many thanks to Seneca Meadows Inc. for being our title sponsor!
“As part of Audubon New York, the state office of the National Audubon Society, Montezuma Audubon Center serves as a gateway for adults and school-aged children to get involved in local conservation efforts and experience the wonder of the outdoors,” said Chris Lajewski, Montezuma Audubon Center Director and Onondaga Lake Conservation Corps Director. “We provide opportunities for on-site, outdoor education programs, trails for bird watching and nature walks, and space to learn, share knowledge, and take action on behalf of birds and other wildlife. The Annual Benefit will help us do all of this and so much more.”
The virtual silent auction will be available from June 1 – 14. Visit https://www.myminiauction.com/montezuma-audubon-center-2020 to bid on many great items. You don’t need to register for the Annual Benefit to participate.
