Newark-Arcadia Historical Society Strawberry Social
History and tradition go hand in hand. As we share our ongoing interest with the history of Newark and the surrounding areas within our museum walls, we celebrate with our annual Strawberry Social. Saturday, June 25th from noon until three, we invite friends and community to join us for this delicious event. For nearly three decades we have served up strawberry shortcake with ice cream and toppings and opened our doors to wonderful displays inside the museum during our Strawberry Social. Our strawberries are grown locally thanks to Burnaps Farm Market in Sodus. BeeTee’s Drive In helps make this dessert even better with their ice cream. Our homemade biscuits are prepared just for this event. Docents will be available to welcome you in the museum and answer your questions. There are always new items to see and memories to make. Once again, we will enjoy musical entertainment provided by the Loose Marbles. The Newark-Arcadia Historical Society lawn, 120 High Street will be the site for our event and we serve up shortcake “rain or shine”. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12. Please mark your calendars and come join us for one of our favorite events.
