HeartStrings is a local duet of Kathie and Denny Brunner who play old time music on fiddle and guitar. Their music is primarily instrumental, and is taken from the 17th, 18th, and early 20th century that was often played for barn and square dances, with a few vocals from the 1900’s sprinkled in. Their humorous banter makes for an entertaining show.
Kathie and Denny have performed as a duet since 2005 and especially enjoy playing for their hometown audiences in Macedon, NY.
