Rootstock Cider & Spirits Barrels of Fun (& Pig Roast!)

Last year we hosted our first Barrels of Fun event, and we must say… IT WAS FUN!!! So, why not bring it back for round 2?
This year we will be featuring two of the same breweries as last year and two new faces.
If you have been visiting our tasting room, you will recognize all the names on this list – because we love to feature beers from all of these breweries.
This year we even decided to get a little funky with the beers we will be serving.
Both Swiftwater and Ardennes have provided us with refreshing sours that were aged in our barrels – to break up the heavy malty flavors people usually associate with barrel-aged beers.
We will also be featuring a new cider of our own. We have been sitting on it for a while now, and it is finally ready for its debut! It is a beer barrel-aged cider!!
We took the Pear Brandy leto barrels from Mortalis last year and aged some of our cider in them. It is unlike any other cider we have ever tried, and we can’t wait for everyone else to try it!
Finally, we are working on a new barrel-aged spirit to release at the event, but as the marketing gurus always say – leave them wanting more. So you’ll have to stay tuned to discover the last surprise!
Oh, did we mention the pig roast?? It’s back this year, and better than ever. We are also upping our vegetarian options game – we will be doing Nashville Hot Chix (vegetarian fake chicken) for our non-meat-eating friends.
