On July 20, at 6:30 PM Author Susan Gateley will be at the museum to talk about her most recent book:
“The New York State Canal System: A History Beyond the Erie”
Ms. Gately is a biologist, sailor, educator, and staunch advocate for arguably our greatest natural resource – Lake Ontario. She has a website dedicated to raising awareness of the need to preserve its beauty for future generations: https://silverwaters.com
She is also a familiar face here at the museum. Some of her past titles include “Shifting Winds” and “Saving the Beautiful Lake.”
